Hopefulness / Mandy's Maternity Teaser
If I happened to be the type of person that based my decisions on general outlook as opposed to hopefulness I never would have made it to my maternity photo shoot with Mandy yesterday afternoon. The weather appeared to be completely uncooperative based on the hour-by-hour report and my own observation. And even if we happened to find a small window of partly cloudy skies nestled in-between isolated and/or scattered thunderstorms (what is the difference between those two, anyways?) the question was, would the sun even make an appearance for our late afternoon shoot? Never-the-less, hopeful me cleaned up and readied my photo equipment loaded up the car and drove 30 minutes north in the sprinkling rain to Mandy's parents place on the Highlands and Polk County line. Just as I arrived the sprinkling ceased and the sun made it's way around to blessing us with it's sweet, warm presence. And Mandy, Stephen, myself and the glorious late afternoon sun had ourselves a lovely little hour together. Hopefulness paid off, I'd say.
