The Spencer Family
Over this past Thanksgiving Break I had the opportunity to visit my family and friends in Florida. It is always a special treat to hang out with my cousins and there adorable little ones. I sometimes forget how blessed I am and how rare it is to have such tight bonds with my cousins. There was a group of us (Michael, Ryan, Chet, Angie, Maria, Bianca, Caitlin and myself) that lived our lives together in the car rides from school, to our weekends at our grandpa's pool to the summers at my parent's house spent building forts in trees, riding bikes around the neighborhood and swimming and exploring in the lake. We still have an annual Cousin's Christmas Party where we catch up on life and let loose. I adore my cousins! Anyways, what I am getting at here is that I had the opportunity to photograph my cousin Angie and her adorable family over Thanksgiving break.
Side story on Angie: Angie, my "Roomie for Life", and I lived together for my first two years of college at Florida State University. She had already graduated and was working in Tallahassee. She knew the lay of the land and found us the most beautiful little place to live. I don't think I would have been allowed to go, what seemed, so far way for school had it not been for Angie (luckily she had forgiven me for slapping her for making fun of me in the line at the water park when we were young tikes).
Side story on Brady: Brady, the Spencer's middle child, and I (also a middle child) share a birthday on February, 22nd (obviously a few years apart). And being a fairly competitive person regardless of age was attempting to incite a little jealousy in Brady one day by letting him know that I had that birthday first. Brady, without a moment of hesitation comes back at me with "Well, I have it last!" Ouch. He got me there. Those February 22nd babies... man, they sure are sharp. :)
The Spencer family — Jon, Angie, Peyton, Brady and Rylee — was so precious that day (not that they aren't always precious). Just check it out in the photos...
